Rev Rumble 2025

This past weekend, three fencers from MyTHS—Matthew, Gabe, and Mark—traveled to compete in Revolution Rumble 2025, one of many tournaments the club is participating in this tournament season. With strong performances and memorable moments across both A-Tier and B-Tier brackets, the event was a great showcase of our club’s growth and spirit.

Mark entered the A-Tier for the first time and held his own against some of the top competitors in the division. Though he didn’t advance far into eliminations, every single match went down to the final point, showing just how close and hard-fought his bouts were. We’re incredibly proud of how he performed under pressure and represented MyTHS at the highest level.

Gabe and Matthew were both placed in the same B-Tier pool, and started the day off with strong energy. Matthew came out swinging, winning his first two matches by wide margins, but unfortunately sustained a thumb injury during the final exchange of his second bout. Due to the injury, he was medically disqualified from the rest of the tournament, but stayed to support and coach from the sidelines. Gabe had an excellent pool performance with three wins and one loss, and made it all the way to the quarterfinals in eliminations, where he ultimately lost after a hard-fought run.

We’re incredibly proud of all three fencers for their grit, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
