Star Wars Day 2025

On May 4th, 2025, MyTHS celebrated Star Wars Day in true galactic fashion with a special Lightsaber Duel event. From 2 to 4 PM, members and guests came together to channel their inner Jedi and Sith in a lighthearted afternoon of sparring, group battles, and fun. With lightsabers in hand and the Force on their side, participants faced off in one-on-one duels and thrilling team fights between the Light Side and Dark Side.

The event was casual and welcoming, with loaner lightsabers, fencing masks, and gloves provided for anyone who needed gear. Many attendees showed up in costume, adding to the festive energy of the day. Whether it was someone’s first time swinging a saber or they were a seasoned duelist, the atmosphere was focused on fun, movement, and Star Wars fandom.

This themed sparring session brought together both longtime members and curious newcomers, offering a low-pressure way to experience what MyTHS is all about. Events like these help build our community by mixing creativity, physical activity, and shared passion. We had a great time, and we’re already looking forward to making Star Wars Day an annual tradition!
